Bowflex Ultimate 2 home gyms recalled from marketplace

Nautilus is recalling about 68,000 Bowflex Ultimate 2 Home Gyms because fasteners on the equipment may come loose, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday.
The CPSC warned that if fasteners come loose, resistance rods or the rod box might separate and strike the user. The company has learned of 10 associated incidents, including three injuries involving bruised arms, sore elbows and a sore back.
The gyms, manufactured by China-based Land America Ltd., were sold in U.S. stores from June 2005 to August 2007 for about $2,300 US.
Consumers should stop using the gyms and contact the company for a repair kit.
