KTM North America recalls ATVs for brake failure
- October 22, 2007 3:51 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
About 270 all-terrain vehicles are being withdrawn because the rear brakes may fail, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Monday.
No incidents or injuries have been reported.
The recall applies to KTM models year 2008 450XC and 525 XC ATVs sold through dealers in the U.S. from August 2007 through September 2007 for between $8,800 US and $9,000 US each.
Consumers should stop using the vehicle and see their dealer for a repair.
