Charlemagne Chocolatiers recall expanded
- October 29, 2007 9:47 AM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Canada's food watchdog is expanding an earlier recall for Charlemagne Chocolatiers to include an additional chocolate bar.
Three recalls were issued in October warning consumers the chocolate products contained milk not listed on its label. The latest action involves Charlemagne Chocolatiers Tea Bio Organic bars sold in 50-gram bars with the UPC code 5 425001 204045.
No associated illnesses have been reported.
The bars are known to have been distributed in Quebec and Ontario, but may have been sold across the country.
For more information, consumers can call the Canadian Food Inspection Agency at 1-800-442-2342.
