Hong Kong sexual dysfunction product advisory

Health Canada is warning consumers not to use a sexual dysfunction treatment sold in Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong Department of Health says Satis 60 Hours Ever Lasting Formula contains piperidenafil. Piperidenafil is closely related to vardenafil, a prescription drug used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
Vardenafil has been associated with adverse reactions such as vision problems, headaches and potentially life-threatening low blood pressure. Use of vardenafil may pose a health risk for consumers with certain medical conditions, including diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, cardiovascular problems, and those undergoing nitrate treatment.
Satis 60 Hours Ever Lasting Formula is sold in a blue box displaying the product name in Chinese characters.
While it is not authorized for sale in Canada and has not been found in the Canadian marketplace, Canadians travelling abroad can purchase it. It can also be bought over the internet.
For more information, contact Health Canada's public inquiries line at (613) 957-2991 or toll-free at 1-866-225-0709.
