Health Canada issues warning for 5 unauthorized sexual-enhancement products

Health Canada is warning consumers against using five unauthorized sexual-enhancement products, saying they could pose serious health risks.

The federal agency on Friday issued alerts for the following products:


  • Top Gun for Men Herbal Extracts
  • Oyster Plus
  • Deguozhanjiang
  • Chongcaoliubian Jiaonang
  • Santi Scalper Penis Erection Capsules

The products have been found to contain medication that should only be taken under the supervision of a health-care professional. Users may experience side-effects including seizures, headaches, flushing, abdominal pain, stroke and hypertension.

No adverse reactions have been reported in Canada.

The products are not authorized for sale in Canada but might have been brought into the country by travellers or purchased through online retailers.

Consumers should not use these products and should consult a health-care professional with any concerns.
