Watering cans recalled for lead paint hazard
- August 28, 2007 12:07 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
About 6,000 Robbie Ducky watering cans sold at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft stores in the U.S. are being recalled because they contain lead paint, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday.
The children's watering cans were sold from February 2007 through August 2007 for about $10 US each.
Lead can cause adverse side-effects if swallowed by children. No injuries or incidents have been reported.
Consumers should return the watering cans to any Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft store for a refund.
