About 6,000 outdoor lounge chairs have been recalled after seven reports of minor injuries.
The Garden Treasures Cloud 9 Beyond Chairs, manufactured by Chinese company Taizhou Yongjiang Arts and Crafts Collective Ltd. and sold at Lowe's, can break when in the reclined position, posing a fall hazard to consumers.
The importer, L G Sourcing, Inc. of North Carolina, has received reports of minor injuries such as bruising to the back, hips, shoulders, arms and a torn ligament.
The recall involves chairs sold from December 2006 through April 2007. Customers should stop using the chairs immediately and return them to a Lowe's retail outlet to receive a full refund.
For more information, contact L G Sourcing, Inc. at 866-493-6560 or visit the Lowe's website website.
