Girls' clothing sets sold at Kmart recalled
- August 24, 2007 8:55 AM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
About 4,700 clothing sets for girls sold in U.S. Kmart stores are being recalled because children can become tangled in drawstring closures, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday.
The recall applies to the Basic Editions-brand clothing sets printed with "Varsity Club Winning Attitude" text and "Paradise University Girls Club," and sold in sizes 4/5, 6/6X, 7/8 and 10/12.
No injuries have been reported.
The sets were sold between March 2007 and May 2007 for between $10 and $13 US each.
Consumers should remove the drawstrings from the clothing and contact the company with further questions.
