Bar stools recalled for fall hazard

North Carolina-based Calligaris USA Inc. is recalling about 400 ICE brand bar stools because the seats can separate, creating a fall hazard for users, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Friday.
The company has learned of five incidents in which seats detached. No injuries have been reported.
The recall applies to the ICE Calligaris bar stools sold in furniture stores in the U.S. from November 2005 through September 2006 for between $250 and $600 US each.
Consumers should stop using the seats and return them to the store for a refund.
