Over 43,000 children's party hats recalled
- June 8, 2007 8:16 AM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Creative Expressions is recalling about 43,100 children's party hats because foil fringes glued around the rims of the hats can detach, presenting a choking hazard to children.
No incidents or injuries have been reported.
The party hats were sold at party and discount stores across the U.S. from February 2005 through May 2007 for about $4 US.
Consumers should throw out the hats and contact the company for a refund.
