Consumers urged to check Hershey products for date codes

Canada's food watchdog is telling consumers to check Hershey products after discovering previously recalled products for sale in one store.
Police found a number of recalled Hershey products for sale at a Lindsay, Ont., store, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said Friday. In November, Hershey issued a voluntary recall of a range of products after a routine plant inspection found salmonella in an ingredient.
Last week, Toronto police arrested two men in possession of recalled Hershey's products. The authorities are investigating and have not determined if the two incidents are linked.
The recalled batch numbers, printed on the backs of the packages, range from 6417 to 6455.
No associated illnesses have been reported.
