Baby long johns recalled for choking danger
- June 8, 2007 8:14 AM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
About 5,500 baby long johns, distributed by Illinois-based Personal Creations, are being withdrawn, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday.
Metal snaps on the long johns can come loose, presenting a choking danger to children. The company has learned of 10 incidents of snaps loosening or coming free. No injuries have been reported.
The pajamas, sold in various sizes, were sold through the Personal Creations catalogue and on its website from September 2006 through January 2007 for about $22 US.
Consumers should take the long johns away from children and contact the company for a refund or replacement.
