Allergy warning, recall issued for Maltitol chocolate

Canada's food watchdog is warning consumers with hazelnut allergies not to eat certain Maltitol chocolates.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency on Friday issued a recall of the following products:
- Groder Fondente, Bitter Chocolate Sweetened with Maltitol, 75 g bar, UPC 8 008429 023015, best before date of September 13, 2007.
- Groder Al Latte, Milk Chocolate Sweetened with Maltitol, 75 g bar, UPC 8 008429 023008, best before date of May 13, 2007.
The chocolate bars were distributed across the country.
No associated illnesses have been reported.
Consumers with questions can call the Canadian Food Inspection Agency at 1-800-442-2342.
