Manischewitz grape juices withdrawn

- By Peter Hadzipetros
Two kinds of Manischewitz sparkling grape juice are being recalled because the bottles pose a rupture danger, Canada's food watchdog announced.
The recall by R.A.B. Food Group LLC applies to Sparkling Concord Grape Juice (UPC: 72700-05361) and Sparkling Niagara Grape Juice (UPC: 72700-05362), the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said.
Additional pressure may build up in some bottles because of fermenting, which could cause the cap to pop or the bottle to break. Several incidents of rupturing bottles have been reported.
The product was sold in Ontario, Quebec and the United States.
