Wal-Mart Easter baskets recalled for choking hazard
- April 5, 2007 3:26 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Wal-Mart is recalling about 8,500 Disney Princesses Easter Baskets, the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission said Thursday.
Silver beads and ribbons on the basket can come loose, creating a choking hazard for young children. No incidents of injury or illness have been reported.
The baskets were sold exclusively at Wal-Mart stores in the U.S. from February 2007 through March 2007 for about $10 US.
Consumers should return the basket to the store for a full refund.
