Target recalls children's activity cart for choking danger

Target is recalling about 18,500 activity carts because they pose a choking danger, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Wednesday.

The recall involves the Little Tree Wood Activity Cart Toys manufactured by Hong Kong Toy Centre.

The CPSC warns that hubcaps on the wheel of the cart can come loose, creating a choking hazard to young children.

Target has received seven reports of hubcaps coming off the carts. No injuries have been reported to the company.

The activity carts were sold at Target stores in the U.S. from July 2006 through March 2007 and through the company's website from October 2006 through February 2007 for about $20 US.

Consumers should return the products to the retailer for a refund.
