Tickleberry's chocolate-covered fruits have 5 undeclared contents

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has warned people with allergies to five different items to avoid nine flavours of Tickleberry’s chocolate-covered dried fruits.

The Tickleberry's products, sold in 100-gram packages all over the country, contain undeclared milk, soy, sulphites, peanuts and wheat.

The products include blueberries, pastel cherries, dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries, apricots, cranberries, white cranberries and cherries with no sugar added.

Tickleberry's, of Okanagan Falls, B.C., has recalled the products.

In a second recall, the CFIA said people with milk-protein allergies should avoid Finesse assorted dark chocolates.
The chocolate covered with dried fruits and nuts was sold in 227-gram or 454-gram boxes only in the Montreal area. It may contain undeclared milk protein.

There have been no reported illnesses from eating either of the recalled brands, although consumption could cause a life-threatening reaction in people with allergies to milk protein, for Finesse, and milk, soy, sulphites, peanuts and wheat, for the Tickleberry's products.
