Spin Master issues safety alert for children's tents
- March 13, 2007 2:26 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Toy company Spin Master Ltd. issued an alert Tuesday, saying its children's tents pose a strangulation hazard.
The Toronto-based manufacturer said children could become tangled in the strings of beads hanging at the tent's entrance. Consumers should cut the dangling beads from the tent flaps and discard them.
The company has received one report of a child becoming entangled in the beads.
About 16,500 units were sold at Wal-Mart stores across Canada from July 2005 through March 2007 for about $39.
For more information, contact the company at (800) 622-8339.
