- By Peter Hadzipetros
People with soy allergies should not eat Shirakiku brand Honey Panko Bread Crumbs, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said Friday.
The product failed to list soy on its ingredient label, the federal agency says. The recall involves the 350g package with the UPC 0 74410 02520 5.
The product was distributed in B.C., Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
Consumers seeking more information can call the Canadian Food Inspection Agency at 1-800-442-2342/TTY 1-800-465-7735.
