Time Sport International recalls bicycle pedals
- October 25, 2006 5:06 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
About 18,000 bicycle pedals distributed by Time Sport International are being recalled because they pose a fall hazard, the U.S. Consumer Safety Product Commission has announced.
The Time RXS Titan Carbon, RXS Carbon, RXS and RXE Bicycle Pedals were sold at bicycle stores through mail order and from online vendors from October 2004 through August 2006.
The company has received eight incident reports of the pedal coming off the bicycle, causing minor injuries.
Consumers should stop using the pedals and contact the company immediately for an inspection.
