- August 23, 2006 3:34 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has confirmed a case of mad cow in a mature beef cow from Alberta. No part of the animal entered the human food or animal feed systems. The agency is investigating the animal's birth farm in an effort to identify the animal's age, cows in the same herd and possible sources of contaminated feed.
