- By Peter Hadzipetros
Harmful chemicals have been found in Overwaitea Cheese Cake and Black Forest Cake products, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency advised in a health hazard alert.
Only cakes bought from the Overwaitea store in Salmon Arm, B.C., on Aug. 28 and 29, 2006, are affected. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumers should return the affected products to the store for full refunds, the agency said.
