The product VG, marketed as a sexual enhancement and treatment for erectile dysfunction, should not be consumed because of concerns about possible side-effects, Health Canada has advised. The agency warns that the drug may contain sildenafil, the generic name for Viagra, which should only be taken under medical supervision. This product is not sold in Canada but could have been purchased by Canadians travelling abroad or by consumers over the internet. No adverse reactions have been reported to Health Canada.
