Foreign product alert: Reduce Weight

Health Canada has issued an alert advising consumers not to use the product Reduce Weight because of concerns about possible side-effects. The agency said it has concerns the drug may cause vision problems, increased heart rate and high blood pressure. This product is not sold in Canada, but could have been purchased by Canadians travelling abroad or by consumers over the internet. No adverse reactions have been reported to Health Canada.
