Ben & Jerry's gives peace a chance with new flavour

Vermont-based ice-cream maker Ben & Jerry's is stirring up a call for global harmony with its newest flavour: Imagine Whirled Peace.
Ben and Jerry's co-founder Jerry Greenfield is expected to recreate John Lennon's 1969 bed-ins in Montreal and Amsterdam, in which the songwriter and ex-Beatle and his wife made a call for peace. Lennon wrote Give Peace a Chance during the Montreal bed-in at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel.
In 1971, Lennon wrote a second peace anthem, Imagine - later deemed the third greatest song of all time by Rolling Stone.
The new ice cream blends caramel, toffee bits and chocolate-covered peace signs.
