2 cm — Width of the new Macbook Air at its thickest part. The new laptop was unveiled Tuesday at the company's Macworld conference in San Francisco. The Macbook Air is set to hit stores in two weeks.

$20 million — Amount put in trust by the Western Canada Lottery Corporation as 21 people squabble over who is entitled to the jackpot payout. Victoria Kwon, who owns the Okotoks, Alta., Hi Ho gas station where the winning ticket was issued, said one of the players told her a man forgot to pitch in his share of the pool the night they won.

90 — Number of Canadians left stranded at the Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires amid riots. The travellers had been scheduled to return to Toronto aboard an Air Canada jet last Saturday when riots broke out over a labour dispute at the Ezeiza International Airport. Only half the passengers made it onto the departing flight.

$326,055 — Average price of a resale home sold last year in Canada. The Canadian Real Estate Association said a record 362,934 homes were sold through the MLS system in 2007.

600 — Number of cloned animals and offspring included in a U.S. Food and Drug Administration study released Tuesday. The long-awaited report found that meat and milk from cloned animals are safe to consume.

6 weeks — Time to process passport applications, Passport Canada warned travellers Tuesday. The federal agency said January is their busiest time of the year as many Canadians plan retreats from the winter weather.

$240,000 — Price of the first hybrid electric school bus that rolled out in Kelowna Tuesday. The 72-passenger bus is powered by a diesel engine and a battery-powered electric motor and costs about $50,000 more than an ordinary diesel bus.

2011 — Model year of cars that will have to abide by new fuel economy standards to be set by the federal government. Federal Transport Minister Lawrence Cannon on Thursday said the new standards will at a minimum match regulations — of 6.7L/100 km — recently approved in the U.S.

650,000 — Number of credit cards in the U.S. possibly compromised after a computer tape was discovered missing. GE Money, which handles credit card operations for J.C. Penney and other retailers, said there hasn't been any indication of theft or fraud.

1.1 million — Number of overnight car trips Canadians made to the U.S. in November, Statistics Canada reported. Canadians also set a new record in overseas travel for the seventh month in a row, with trips totalling 657,000, up 1.8 per cent from the previous month.
