A German entrepreneur has set up a "separation agency," helping those who just can't find the courage or the words to end their relationships.
Berlin-based Bernd Dressler will deliver a break-up message over the phone for 20 euros, or $30 Cdn. For 50 euros, or approximately $76 Cdn, the former insurance manager will make a personal visit. Dressler says he asks people to provide an explanation for the split and he notes most people he visits are left in a mild state of shock.
"We have had dating agencies for 30 years," Dressler told the BBC, saying his business was thriving. "If you want to have a new partnership, then you have to quit your previous one."
"I think it's the same market — just in reverse," he said.
Dressler also offers coaching sessions, teaching the fine art of the apology and tips on how to save a troubled partnership.
