Scotland’s national tourist board has launched the Date a Hot Scot sweepstakes for single women around the world, promising to "give every girl the opportunity to seek out the man of her dreams."
And travel to Scotland, of course.
At its website, http://www.dateahotscot.com/, tourism officials urge women to vote for their favourite (kilted) Scot and sign up for an opportunity to win a trip to the country – including flight and hotel for three nights.
According to the website, "the girls truly will get to meet their very own Braveheart, with rugby heartthrob and 21st Century Kilt Model, Chris Capaldi."
Other hot Scots include former boy band member Thom Evans and Andrew Horne a member of the traditional Scottish band, the Porridgemen.
"Scotland has long been known for its romantic history, its myths and stunning scenery...but the country’s 450,000 single men are also an attraction for visitors to Scotland, particularly when teamed with the accent, sense of humour and kilts that are renowned across the world," say the promoters.
