The weather might have you assuming otherwise, but believe it or not, spring is finally on its way! Which means love is in the air.
As the old song goes, "birds do it, bees do it, stars from shows of CBC's do it..." (Or something along those lines.)
It's that time of year when love is all around, so we're reaching out to the fans of Murdoch Mysteries, Repulic of Doyle, and other CBC favouites. We want to know ... who is your favourite on-screen couple on the air right now?
Maybe it's the Bobby/Krista hook-up from Arctic Air? Or the Amy and Ty relationship that blossomed over the last few years on Heartland? Here are the candidates:
AMY & TY (Heartland)
Amy Fleming (Amber Marshall) and Ty Borden (Graham Wardle) experience the challenges, joys and growing pains of coupledom, as they chart a path for their future together.
WILLIAM & JULIA (Murdoch Mysteries)
Dashing detective William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) and the love of his life, psychiatrist Dr. Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy), are one another’s staunchest allies, and share a love that continues to deepen.
JAKE & LESLIE (Republic of Doyle)
Sergeant Leslie Bennett (Krystin Pellerin) and P.I. Jake Doyle (Allan Hawco) grow closer than they’ve ever been, while trying to keep their relationship from getting in the way of their careers.
BOBBY & KRISTA (Arctic Air)
Amid the vast terrain and unforgiving climate of Yellowknife, the stakes are sky-high for our two flying aces, Bobby Martin (Adam Beach) and Krista Ivarson (Pascale Hutton).
GEORGE & EMILY (Murdoch Mysteries)
Eager constable George Crabtree (Jonny Harris) and feisty pathologist Dr. Emily Grace (Georgina Reilly) struggle against their class differences, yet their relationship continues to blossom.
RON & DON (Hockey Night in Canada)
Together for nearly three decades, this duo has a long-standing Saturday night date during the first period of the weekly NHL hockey game. But it’s strictly platonic.
It's time to sound off below.
