Riot Justice, 9/11 Controversy & The Situation
Here's what we're working on for tonight's show...
Over a 1,000 people have now been charged in connection with the London riots. And some of those convicted, face a lot of jail time. Now people are saying the punishment doesn't fit the crime. Meanwhile on this side of the pond, Vancouver police held a news conference to address the fact that not ONE person has been charged in connection with the riot in that city. Vancouver Police say you can't compare the two riots, or the response. But we want to know: just how different are they?
Plus, there's tension in New York ahead of the 9/11 anniversary. Emergency personnel who were the first on the scene ten years ago, weren't invited to attend the memorial at Ground Zero this year. We'll have reaction tonight.
And Abercrombie and Fitch isn't too fond of The Situation. The mega brand says it will pay the Jersey Shore cast-mate not to wear its clothes. Good publicity move? Or is A&F just getting into a sticky situation?
Tune in tonight at 8 p.m. ET on CBC NN.
