Here's what's on the go for tonight's show:

A new report says pollution, over-fishing and other man-made problems are killing our oceans. And that would mean big problems in our lifetime. So tonight we're looking into just how dire the situation is, and what it's going to take for us to really care.

And Obama is addressing the nation tomorrow night about the future of the U.S. mission in Afghanistan. We'll carry that speech live tomorrow but for tonight's show we're making it personal. New York Times journalist David Rohde will talk with us about what he learned about the war in Afghanistan from being help as a captive for seven months.

It's also the first day of summer today. It's supposed to be a time to kick back, relax, enjoy friends, and even a cold one. But Salon.com contributor Mary Elizabeth Williams is finding it hard to find the joy in summer after fighting skin cancer.

And Spider-Man is dying. His last breathe will be tomorrow. So, why kill him? Is it just his time, or is there something more going on here?

Reshmi is hosting tonight. Tune in at 8 p.m. ET on CBC NN.
