It was a blog that caught the attention of people around the world. A young lesbian woman in Damascus told the story of the uprising through her eyes. Problem is, none of it was true. 'Gay Girl in Damascus' is a hoax. The 40-year-old man behind the blog said it was the only way he could draw attention to the serious problems in Syria. Tonight we'll talk to the person who helped unravel the hoax and Mona Eltahawy gives us her take as to whether this hoax has helped or hurt the situation in Syria.
