The Conservative party released their platform "Here for Canada" this morning in Mississauga, Ont. One of the main platform themes is safe streets, with support for victims of crime and the re-introduction of law-and-order legislation. It's just the latest party to tackle questions of crime and punishment - even as the number of reported incidents of crime continues to fall.
