"I have nowhere to resign from. I have no position. I have my gun and I will fight for Libya." Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi called on his supporters today to "secure Libya's streets" and vowed to "cleanse Libya house by house" if the anti-government protests continue. Benjamin Barber has interviewed Gadhafi six times, and today he announced his resignation from the Gaddafi Foundation (a human rights and democracy organization set up by Gaddafi's son.) He joins us tonight. We also speak to J. Scott Carpenter, who used to work for the State Department, and is currently working to empower Arab democrats in their struggle against extremism.
