On Monday, we gear up for the 83rd Academy Awards with a Connect Oscar special. This year, four of the best picture nominations are based on true stories. But how real are they? When you tell a true story, does the truth get lost in translation?
On the show, we have Oscar winning filmmaker Paul Haggis. He says, "We all like true stories - until we have to sit and listen to them." Good point. The Winklevoss twins also join us. They're the Harvard brothers who claim Mark Zuckerburg stole Facebook from them, or at least according to "The Social Network."
Plus, the stuttering script writer behind "The King's Speech." And just what's it like when your personal story hits the big screen? We get into that with Chris Gardner who's own life story is told in "The Pursuit of Happyness".
We're sure you have a bag of stale microwave popcorn somewhere. Find it, pop it, and join us Monday night at 8:00 p.m. ET.
