Consumers are feeling less confident these days according to a new survey by RBC. From their findings, 22 per cent of us are worried about our jobs, and only 60 per cent think the overall economic outlook is good. We check in with Canadians across the country tonight to see how the economy is affecting our lives. James Cameron, one of Hollywood's biggest directors, visited the Alberta oilsands this week, in an attempt to bring attention to the issue. While the country followed his tour, the rest of the world didn't seem to notice. Tonight we look at the connection between celebrities and causes, with the author of "Cult of Celebrity."
This weekend, thousands of Canadians across the country will "Run for the Cure." Baljot Mangat is the youngest Run For Cure director, and she's hoping to raise awareness in a community where many women don't know what breast cancer is. VJ Marica Connolly brings us that story tonight.
And Paul Hunter is filling in for Mark. Join him, and Reshmi, at 8:00 p.m. ET live.
