Tomorrow on parliament hill is the long-awaited vote on the long gun registry. Tonight, we take a closer look the gun debate here in Canada. Our reporter Nick Purdon visits Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, to hear from someone who has a long gun, as well as a strong opinion on the registry. We also have the perspective of a student from the École Polytechnique massacre, who has since taken up the cause of gun control.

NDP MP Peter Stoffer is being criticized for changing his vote to now support the gun registry. But what's so wrong with that? Former MP Sheila Copps joins us for a look at flip-flopping in politics.
