Tent? Check. Sleeping bags? Check. Bug spray? Check. Laptop...
Ontario Parks is testing out Wi-Fi on their grounds through a pilot program at Pinery Provincial Park. They soft launched the service two weeks ago at a store on site, in response to requests from campers.
"They're telling us this is what they want. They want to be able to stay in touch with family members, or for work purposes be able to just check some emails," explains Ross Hart, Acting Park Superintendent for the park. "We'll see how it goes."
But isn't the point of camping to retreat back to nature, in an effort to disconnect? So I decided to visit the park for a look at camping with your computer.
