Seven years after the start of the war in Iraq, where are we? Tonight, we connect with a former US soldier who fought in Iraq and an Iraqi asylee in the U.S. Federal Fisheries Minister Gail Shea is applauding a UN vote rejecting a U.S - backed proposal to ban the export of bluefin tuna. Tuna stocks have shrunk more than 80 per cent since the 19th century. The fish is a sushi favourite. By voting against this ban, has the world just agreed to driving bluefin tuna into extinction?
And tonight we meet Alex and Luke, two friends about to embark on a road trip across North America, planned by strangers. They're letting the public tell them where to go, and what to do via Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, you get the deal. We find out what they hope to take away from this social experiment.
Plus, comedian Steve Patterson takes on dollar parity, and Reshmi with the latest in news. Connect at 8:00 p.m. ET live.
