The Supreme Court ruled today that Canada violated the human rights of Omar Khadr, but is not obliged to ask the US to repatriate him. Has Khadr been left to languish in Guantanamo because he's an accused terrorist, or because few Canadians really want him back? A former Gitmo detainee and current director of Caged Prisoners joins us on the show tonight to explain what it took to get him home. The Connect team is getting a real kick out of this week's pie fight. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) was pied today in St. John's, N.L., by a salty dog. This is following PETA's recent pieing of federal Fisheries Minister Gail Shea to protest the seal hunt. Tonight, the politics of pie.
It's an uncomfortable topic to talk about: obesity. Tonight, we take it out in the open in the popular segment "Ask Me Anything." All this and more, tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET live.
