Cinq à Six in the Summer -- July 7, 2012

Oumou Sangaré has been a crowd favourite in Quebec for the last decade.

Malian-Montrealers know every song and adore her stance on human rights and peace.

She is fearless in her battle to educate African women and especially eliminate the practice of arranged marriages in western Africa.

This CBC Radio 2 recording was the closing concert at the Festival International Nuits d'Afrique in Montreal.
