Cinq à Six in the Summer -- August 13, 2011

evin1.jpgThis is a show for those who love pop music.

Starting with Mike Evin, pop's new piano man. The Canadian singer-songwriter's unwavering belief that a three-minute pop song can reaffirm one's faith in life, love and music has earned him a devoted following throughout North America.

Evin's enthusiastic audiences are loyal, as evidenced by the fact that Do You Feel The World? was financed largely by his fans. Devoted followers raised $6,000 to help pay for the album.

Montreal based singer/songwriter Jeremy Fisher broke onto the scene a decade ago and is now gaining recognition as one of our most clever songwriters. His latest album, Flood, was co-produced with studio whiz Hawksley Workman.

The two-time Juno nominee does music and much more: he's done a summer bicycle tour, produced video projects, started his own animated web series, "For Real with Jeremy Fisher," created music videos, and founded The Malahat Revue.

This concert was recorded at the Sala Rossa in Montreal.
