When we talk about world cultural capitals, Berlin is often near the top of the list.
Many artists and musicians go back and forth between Berlin and Montreal.
As we head into municipal elections, we're asking, is there anything Montreal's local government could learn from Berlin?

Manfred Stoffel is the director of the Goethe Institut, which is celebrating it's one-year anniversary in its new location on St. Laurent Street this month.
Pierre Rancourt is an opera singer originally from St-Prosper. He spent eight months in Berlin. He's now returned to Quebec and is living in Montreal.
Bettina Hoffman is a visual artist originally from Berlin, but she's been living and working in Montreal since 2000.
