Funkytown, the film

daniel roby edit.jpgThe new disco movie Funkytown captures the glitter, the glamour and the excess of the late 70s - when Montreal's disco scene was the one of the hottest places in North America. Director Daniel Roby is too young to remember the scene but says - like it or not -disco is contagious! He also tells Pierre that his star, Patrick Huard, gives one of his best performances ever.

Denis Villeneuve heads to the Oscars

Villeneuve said then that he felt like a 12-year-old kid when it came to the Oscars. Imagine how he feels now that the film is headed to the Oscars in the Foreign-language Film category!
