Better Cafeterias - Helping our Kids Eat Better at School and at the Rink

It might be hard to imagine a teenager choosing a chicken sandwich for lunch when burgers and pizza are on the cafeteria menu.But, researchers at Cornell University have discovered many of them will actually order the healthier choice when one is offered.

Brian Wansink is a marketing professor at Cornell, and the author of Slim By Design.He and his team experimented with adding healthy choices to established cafeteria menus, and canteens at kids' sports events. They discovered sometimes a small change can make a big difference.
