A Sealer's Thoughts on the Federal Government's Stand on the EU Ban and the Upcoming Season

The federal minister of the environment is supporting the case of Canadian sealers again today.World Trade Organization hearings started yesterday in Geneva and will continue until tomorrow. The meetings are part of an appeal by Canada of the European Union's ban on imported seal products.Minister Leona Aglukkaq said she'll argue the seal harvest is humane, sustainable and well-regulated.
