Fishermen Who Allegedly Threw Crab over the Wharf in Hickman's Harbour Last Spring Heading to Court

The RCMP have laid mischief charges against twenty-four fishermen and FFAW members.The fishermen were protesting at the Golden Shell plant in Hickman's Harbour.The FFAW had asked fishermen not to sell crab to processors in a dispute over prices.Some fishermen sold to Golden Shell anyway, and the protestors allegedly took that crab from the plant and threw it off the wharf.

Golden Shell is suing the FFAW in a civil case stemming from the incident. Jim Hughes is the company lawyer and talks to us about this.
