Learning to Live With the Newfoundland Coyote
Coyote populations in this province have been on the rise over the last few decades. In order to control the population, the government has put a pelt bounty program in place. But scientists say we should learn to live with the wild dogs, not fear them. Carly Sponarski is a Ph.D student at MUN in the department of geography. She has been running a pilot program in Cape Breton to teach people how to do just that.
