Toronto architects - Planning and Designing a Structure in Botwood

A group of architects are travelling to Botwood from Ontario today.

The professional designers and Carleton University students will be collaborating with residents of Botwood.The project is part of the "Cultures of Outports" program. Locals and architects will brainstorm for a few days and thenbuild what they hope will be a focal point for the community.It's an initiative of E-R-A Architects that uses research, design and planning to inspire towns facing significant change.

Philip Evans is the founder of the program.
