NL Aquaculture Addresses Recent Concerns in the Industry

Yesterday on our show, we heard from wild salmon advocate, Bill Bryden of Lumsden.He says he's been researching where fish farms in the province dump their waste.He says industry workers have told him dead and diseased fish as well as fish plant effluent and pesticides are being dumped at sea.

That would be illegal.

Miranda Pryor is the executive director of the Newfoundland Aquaculture Industry Association. She dropped by the studio to address recent concerns in the province's aquaculture industry.
